Article Synopsis
  • * The introduction of NbTiWO (NTWO) as the negative electrode material enhances fast-charging abilities and cycle stability, outperforming lithium metal.
  • * Testing shows that NTWO and LiPSCl solid-state electrolyte combined with a LiNbO-coated LiNiMnCoO positive electrode can retain 80% discharge capacity after 5000 cycles under specific conditions.

In the ongoing battle against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), understanding its pathogenesis and developing effective treatments remain critical challenges. The creation of animal models that closely replicate human infection stands as a critical step forward in this research. Here, we present a genetically engineered mouse model with specifically-humanized knock-in ACE2 (hiACE2) receptors.

Rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries (ZIBs) have emerged as an alternative to lithium-ion batteries due to their affordability and high level of safety. However, their commercialization is hindered by the low mass loading and irreversible structural changes of the cathode materials during cycling. Here, a disordered phase of a manganese nickel cobalt dioxide cathode material derived from wastewater via a coprecipitation process is reported.

Exosomes are a type of extracellular vesicles containing mRNA, miRNA, and proteins of origin cells, which can control the characteristics of other cells or surroundings. Despite increasing evidence on oncogenic properties of tumor-derived exosomes, fibrosarcoma-derived exosomes remain largely unrevealed. While the proper extraction and characterization of exosomes is critical in exosomes research, there are various limitations in techniques to measure the size and homogeneity of exosomes.
