Objective: This meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the predictive value of multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (mpMRI), specifically T2-weighted imaging (T2WI) and apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) maps, in the pathological grading of prostate cancer.

Methods: A comprehensive literature search was conducted across multiple databases, including PubMed, the China National Knowledge Infrastructure dataset, Web of Science, Springer Link and Cochrane Library. Studies evaluating the use of mpMRI for prostate cancer grading were included.

This research aims to investigate the heat recovery of both suspension preheater flue gas and clinker cooler hot air in cement industry. Three thermodynamic cycles including series Kalina Cycle (S-KC)、parallel Kalina Cycle (P-KC) and dual-loop Kalina Cycle (DL-KC) are introduced for converting dual-source heat resources into power to enhance the system efficiency for cement production process. Chronic stress is involved in pathophysiology of depression, and causes some neurochemical alterations in brain. Both mitochondrial dysfunction and neuroinflammation are implicated in mediating the depression-like behavior. The objectives of present study were, at first, to confirm that chronic unpredictable mild stress (CUMS) induces depression-like behavior and alters mitochondrial function and inflammatory responses within the brain, and then to explore the role of mitochondria in the development of this depression-like behavior.

The conventional lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) based on gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) is limited by low sensitivity due to the insufficient brightness of Au NPs. The development of a rapid, sensitive, and accurate screening method for staphylococcal enterotoxin B (SEB) in food is urgently needed because trace amounts of SEB can pose a serious threat to human health. Here, we developed a ultrasensitive triple-modal immunochromatographic assay (ICA) for SEB detection. The AuNFs@Ir nanoflowers exhibited enhanced colorimetric, photothermal, and catalytic performance by modulating the sharp branching structure of the gold nanoflowers and depositing high-density Ir atoms.

Causal inference has recently garnered significant interest among recommender system (RS) researchers due to its ability to dissect cause-and-effect relationships and its broad applicability across multiple fields. It offers a framework to model the causality in RSs such as confounding effects and deal with counterfactual problems such as offline policy evaluation and data augmentation. Background: Clinically, malignant gynecological tumors found by chance during the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic organ prolapse (POP) are rare, and they are usually missed, leading to delayed diagnosis and treatment. The initial treatment of these tumors cannot be standardized, and, as a single surgical intervention may not be able to treat both the tumor and prolapse, secondary surgery is usually needed, affecting the quality of life of patients.

Case Presentation: The present study retrospectively analyzed the data of three patients who were diagnosed with malignant gynecological tumors during the diagnosis and treatment of POP.
