Objective: Chinese herbal medicine formula and calcium antagonist are commonly used medicines for hypertension in China. This study aims to examine the efficacy and safety of for the treatment of Chinese herbal medicine formula combined calcium antagonist hypertension.

Methods: PubMed, the Cochrane library, CNKI, VIP, Sinomed, and Wanfang Database were searched up to January 31, 2021.
