Article Synopsis
  • The heat shock transcription factor (HSF) family in plants is key for responding to stressors like heat, salt, and drought, and researchers identified 22 HSFs in garlic using transcriptome data.
  • Through bioinformatics, three subfamilies of HSFs were characterized, and RT-qPCR revealed varying responses of nine selected genes to heat stress.
  • The isolated HSF gene AsHSFB1, when overexpressed in Arabidopsis thaliana, led to poorer stress resistance compared to wild-type plants, indicating its potential negative regulatory role in garlic’s response to high stress.

Alzheimer's disease(AD), vascular dementia(VD), and traumatic brain injury(TBI) are more common cognitive impairment diseases characterized by high disability and mortality rates, imposing a heavy burden on individuals and their families. Although AD, VD, and TBI have different specific mechanisms, their pathogenesis is closely related to the nucleotide-binding oligome-rization domain-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3). The NLRP3 inflammasome is involved in neuroinflammatory responses, mediating microglial polarization, regulating the reduction of amyloid β-protein(Aβ) deposition, neurofibrillary tangles(NFTs) formation, autophagy regulation, and maintaining brain homeostasis, and synaptic stability, thereby contributing to the development of AD, VD, and TBI.

Fusing low-resolution (LR) hyperspectral images (HSIs) with high-resolution (HR) multispectral images (MSIs) is a significant technology to enhance the resolution of HSIs. Despite the encouraging results from deep learning (DL) in HSI-MSI fusion, there are still some issues. First, the HSI is a multidimensional signal, and the representability of current DL networks for multidimensional features has not been thoroughly investigated.

Hyperspectral image super-resolution by fusing high-resolution multispectral image (HR-MSI) and low-resolution hyperspectral image (LR-HSI) aims at reconstructing high resolution spatial-spectral information of the scene. Existing methods mostly based on spectral unmixing and sparse representation are often developed from a low-level vision task perspective, they cannot sufficiently make use of the spatial and spectral priors available from higher-level analysis. To this issue, this paper proposes a novel HSI super-resolution method that fully considers the spatial/spectral subspace low-rank relationships between available HR-MSI/LR-HSI and latent HSI.

In the internal thread extrusion forming, if the process parameters are not selected properly, the extrusion torque will increase, the extrusion temperature will be too high, or even the tap will break. In order to obtain effective process parameters under certain working conditions, this paper uses a combination of numerical simulation and process experiment to analyze the influence of the bottom hole diameter, extrusion speed, and friction factor on the extrusion torque and extrusion temperature. Through an orthogonal experiment, the significant influence law of different process parameters on the extrusion torque and extrusion temperature was studied, and the order of their influence was determined.
