Change in symptom clusters perioperatively in patients with lung cancer.

Purpose: To describe the trajectory, number, and types of symptom clusters at three time points (i.e., day of admission [T1], 2-4 days postoperatively [T2], and 1 month postoperatively [T3]) using ratings of symptom occurrence and severity and to identify the changes in these symptom clusters over time in patients with lung cancer.

Psychometric Testing of the Chinese Version of Supportive Care Needs Survey for Partners and Caregivers of Cancer Patients.

The objective of this study was to test the psychometric properties of the Chinese version of the Supportive Care Needs Survey for Partners and Caregivers (SCNS-P&C-C) among the caregivers of Chinese patients with cancer. The original English version of SCNS-P&C was translated into Chinese using a forward and backward translation approach. The psychometric properties of the SCNS-P&C-C including factor structure, convergent, and discriminative validities and internal consistency were then tested.
