The aim was to construct and verify a nomogram-based assessment of cancer-specific survival (CSS) in patients with colorectal signet ring cell carcinoma after surgery. Patients were collected from Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results program between 2004 and 2015. Independent prognostic indicators were determined in the training cohort by Cox regression model.

We enrolled primary CAC cases with complete clinicopathological and survival data from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results program during 2004 to 2015. For training set samples, this work applied the Cox regression model to obtain factors independently associated with patient prognosis, which could be incorporated in constructing the nomogram.

Thus, this study is aimed to examine the relationship between the prognosis of cervical AC and marital status. Eligible patients were selected from 2004 to 2015 using the surveillance, epidemiology and end results (SEER) database.

The potentially eligible cases were obtained against the SEER database from 2004 to 2015. Log-rank test and Cox analysis were conducted to identify the independent prognostic factors for predicting OS.

In this study, the correlation of marital status with prognosis of colorectal SRCC was analyzed. Eligible subjects were extracted from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) dataset from 2004 to 2015, followed by comparison of cancer-specific survival (CSS) and overall survival (OS) between married and unmarried group.

Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed using Cox proportional hazards regression model to evaluate the prognostic value of involved variables.

The cohort was selected from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) program between 1 January 2004 and 31 December 2013. Univariate and multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression models were constructed.

In this study, assignments are carried out both theoretically and experimentally. The cell parameters for g-CN are determined as a = b = 8.

We identified nine studies with 5969 patients for a meta-analysis. We calculated pooled risk ratios (RRs) and the 95% confidence intervals (CIs) for multiple parameters and performed statistical analysis using RevMan 5.

Cochrane's risk of bias tool of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) was used for quality evaluation. The statistical analyses were performed using RevMan 5.

However, there was no clear answer on whether SCRT or long-course chemo-radiotherapy (LCRT) is more effective. Therefore we conducted this meta-analysis to evaluate the safety and efficacy of SCRT versus LCRT, both with delayed surgery, for treatment of rectal cancer.

Therefore, the development of more effective treatment modalities remains a critical, albeit elusive, goal in anticancer therapy. The study presented here evaluates the antitumor activity of raspberry pulp polysaccharides (RPPs) against malignant melanoma using a murine tumor-bearing model.

To investigate the evolution process from monomers to resultant polymers and the mechanism of reactions, we controlled the ratio of precursors and the reactive temperature, and we obtained high-resolution STM images of different stages of the surface reaction. The results suggest that preferential adsorption of one kind of monomer has a great influence on the on-surface Schiff base reaction.

To increase the targeted delivery of EDSM to tumors and further enhance its antiangiogenic activity, the RGD sequence (Arg-Gly-Asp) was introduced into EDSM and two peptides were obtained: EDSM-X with RGD on the N-terminus of EDSM and EDSM-Y with RGD on the C-terminus. Both modified peptides showed a significant antiangiogenic activity in the HUVEC migration assay, the HUVEC tube formation assay, and the murine aortic ring formation assay in vitro.
