Application of Mimics Medical 21.0 Software in thoracoscopic anatomical sublobectomy.

Background: The anatomical structure of pulmonary segments is complex, and there are many anatomical variations, making the operation more difficult, so we used Mimics Medical 21.0 software for three-dimensional computed tomography bronchography and angiography (3D-CTBA), carefully formulated the surgical plan and on this basis completed the video-assisted thoracoscopic anatomical sublobectomy.

Methods: A total of 38 patients with pulmonary nodules were selected and received video-assisted thoracoscopic anatomical sublobectomy after using Mimics Medica 21.

Expression and clinical significance of miR-139-5p in non-small cell lung cancer.

Objective: MiR-139-5p is a common tumor-associated microRNA (miRNA), which inhibits the occurrence and development of malignant tumors from various tissue sources. We detected miR-139-5p expression levels in tissues from patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) to explore the relationship between miR-139-5p expression and clinicopathological parameters.

Methods: MiR-139-5p expression levels were detected in cancerous and normal tissues from 60 NSCLC patients by fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction, using normal paracancerous tissue as a control.

Primary prostatic extragastrointestinal stromal tumor: a case report and literature review.

Objective This study was performed to discuss the characteristics, diagnosis, and treatment of primary prostatic extragastrointestinal stromal tumor (EGIST). Methods The case history data of a patient with an EGIST were analyzed and discussed with a literature review. Results The patient was diagnosed with a pelvic tumor, possibly malignant.

A large solitary fibrous tumour of the pleura: a case report and review of the literature.

We report a clinical case of a solitary fibrous tumour of the pleura (SFTP) in a 67-year-old female patient complaining of chest pain for 2 months. A localized large mass was found in the left inferior hemithorax by computed tomography scan. The patient underwent a thoracotomy at the left side with endotracheal anaesthesia.
