Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by dysplasia in early life. Psychoradiology studies have suggested that mental and behavioral deficits in individuals with PWS are linked to abnormalities in brain structural and functional networks. However, little is known about changes in network-based structural-functional coupling and structural/functional topological properties and their correlations with developmental scales in children with PWS.

The content levels and spatial-temporal distribution of antibiotics were analyzed, the correlations between antibiotic contents and soil physicochemical factors were discussed, and the potential ecological risk of antibiotics in the soil was evaluated using the risk quotient method. The results showed that the detection rates of 21 antibiotics were 0-100% with the range of ND-219.

We aimed to analysis the clinical features in PWH with ACA and elucidate the risk factors of high-risk HPV infection. In total, 208 patients who had ACA surgically excised were enrolled (including 123 ACA subjects with HIV infection) from December 1, 2020, to June 31, 2023, and the sex, age, occupation, marital status, new versus recurrent, HPV genotypes, and treatment history of patients were involved.

Three groups were selected for the study: PLWH, asymptomatic PLWH, and healthy volunteers. Colonic mucosal tissue samples were collected via colonoscopy from all participants.

Food additives, such as preservatives, antioxidants and colorants, are widely used to improve food quality and extend shelf life. However, their effects on intestinal microecology May pose health risks.

Background: Blepharoptosis may result in an unattractive appearance and vision problems. According to the severity of ptosis, patients may undergo correction surgery using upper eyelid retractors. The conventional incision for surgical procedures was the double-eyelid incision, potentially resulting in an obvious and unnatural scar or long-lasting edema and prolonged recovery time.

Soluble fms-like tyrosine kinase-1 (sFLT1), which exerts a role in the late stage of PE, has shown its beneficial anti-inflammatory effects in inflammation-associated diseases. Macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) was reported to upregulate sFLT1 production in experimental congenital diaphragmatic hernia.

Triptolide (TP), a bioactive compound extracted the from traditional Chinese medicine Hook F (TwHF), has been shown to be effective in treating several autoimmune diseases, and has suppressive effects in several key immune cells such as dendritic cells, T cells, and macrophages. However, it is unknown whether TP has an impact on natural killer (NK) cells. Here, we report that TP has suppressive effects on human NK cell activity and effector functions.

Methods: A total of 489 patients underwent thunderbolt Z-epicanthoplasty from July 2015 to April 2019, with or without blepharoplasty.
The prevalence of Merkel cell polyomavirus(MCPyV) in Merkel cell carcinoma(MCC) and non-MCC skin lesions and its possible role in the etiology of other skin diseases remain controversial. To systematically assess the association between MCPyV infection and MCC, non-MCC skin lesions, and normal skin. For this systematic review and meta-analysis, a comprehensive search for eligible studies was conducted using Medline Ovid, Pubmed, Web of Science, and the Cochrane CENTRAL databases until August 2021; references were searched to identify additional studies.

Background: Scarpa fascia preservation has been proposed to minimize complications associated with conventional abdominoplasty, but its efficacy is unclear. The purpose of this article is to determine the influence of preserving scarpa fascia on reducing postabdominoplasty complications.
Methods: A comprehensive search of Medline Ovid, PubMed, Web of Science, and the Cochrane CENTRAL databases was conducted from the inception till June 2021.

Background: The BDDQ-AS (Body Dysmorphic Disorder Questionnaire-Aesthetic Surgery) is a simple and reliable patient-reported outcome measure. It can be used as a screening tool for body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) in patients undergoing aesthetic rhinoplasty. The aim of this study was to translate and culturally adapt the Mandarin version of the BDDQ-AS (M-BDDQ-AS) and evaluate its selected psychometric validation in patients after rhinoplasty.

In this case, the fever clinics (FCs) were still preserved as one of the most effective control measures in China, but this work is based on experience and lacks scientific and effective guidance. Here, we use travel time to link facilities and populations at risk of COVID-19 and identify the dynamic allocation of patients' medical needs, and then propose the optimized allocation scheme of FCs.

However, it is unclear whether miR-21 performs the above-mentioned functions through exosomal transport. Here, we extracted exosomes from the culture supernatants of keloid and normal skin fibroblasts and observed that both types of cells above secrete exosomes; however, keloid fibroblasts secreted significantly more exosomal miR-21 than normal skin fibroblasts (P < .

However, few studies have investigated the reconstruction results of severe traumatic cases. This study aimed to examine the clinical outcomes of severe traumatic alar defect reconstruction using either pedicled nasolabial or forehead flaps combined with conchal cartilage.

The costal cartilage can provide strong structural support and can be used to maintain long-term stability of nostril shape after surgical correction. With the advancement in rhinoplasty techniques, the application and understanding of costal cartilage in cleft lip nasal deformity is still on going.
