Aim: The aim of this meta-analysis is to compare perioperative outcomes and costs of robotic and laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy (RDP and LDP).
Material And Methods: In accordance with the PRISMA guidelines, we searched Medline, EMBASE, Cochrane and Web of Science for reports published before December 2020.
Results: The literature search identified 11 papers (1 187 patients).

There is no clear agreement on the type of gastrectomy to be used (either total [TG] or distal [DG]) in middle or distal gastric cancer, especially when it is undifferentiated or Lauren diffuse type. In this meta-analysis, we intend to define which of the 2techniques should be recommended, based on survival, morbidity and mortality rates. Prospective and retrospective studies comparing both techniques have been included for a total of 6303 patients (3,641 DG and 2,662 TG).

Cystic dystrophy of heterotopic pancreas is a rare condition that means cystic changes of normal pancreatic tissue, placed in unusual locations, commonly in the duodenal wall. We report a case of CDHP in stomach, histologically confirmed after surgery. We show the correlation between radiological and anatomopathological findings, and also review the current literature about reported cases of this exceptional disease.
