Background: () eradication treatment for primary gastric mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma has already been established. However, t (11;18) (q21;q21)/ translocation-positive lesions are a type of primary gastric MALT lymphoma in which a response to eradication treatment is difficult to achieve. In addition, trisomy 18 may be associated with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) transformation of gastric MALT lymphoma.

Diagnostic performance of TILs-US score and LPBC in biopsy specimens for predicting pathological complete response in patients with breast cancer.

Background: Tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes-ultrasonography (TILs-US) score is used to predict lymphocyte-predominant breast cancer (LPBC) in surgical specimens. We aimed to compare diagnostic performance of TILs-US score for predicting pathological complete response (pCR) with that of LPBC in biopsy specimens.

Methods: TILs ≥ 50% in biopsy specimens was defined as biopsy-LPBC, and TILs-US score ≥ 4 was categorized as TILs-US score-high.

Measurements of eyelid shape in Asian women have been reported in the frontal view or 45-degree profile only. The aim of this study was to describe morphological characteristics of the upper eyelid in Japanese and Chinese females from the frontal and profile aspects and examine morphological changes with age.

Objective: This study aimed to clarify nursing students' self-assessed levels of nursing skills at a nursing university at graduation and discuss how education and clinical experiences for students and post-licensure nurses should be improved, especially focusing on oncology nursing.

The inherited bone marrow failure syndromes (IBMFSs) are a group of rare disorders characterized by bone marrow failure (BMF), physical abnormalities, and an increased risk of neoplasia. The National Institute of Pediatrics (INP) is a major medical institution in Mexico, where patients with BMF receive a complete approach that includes paraclinical tests. Readily recognizable features, such as the hematological and distinctive physical phenotypes, identified by clinical dysmorphologists, remain crucial for the diagnosis and management of these patients, particularly in circumstances where next-generation sequencing (NGS) is not easily available.

The JSH Practical Guidelines for Hematological Malignancies, 2018 expanded edition, newly adopted brentuximab vedotin, doxorubicin, vinblastine, dacarbazine(A+AVD)protocol as a standard treatment for advanced-stage classical Hodgkin lymphoma(CHL). Therefore, this retrospective analysis compared 15 patients who received A+AVD therapy with 21 patients who received doxorubicin, bleomycin, vinblastine, dacarbazine(ABVD)therapy. All patients were newly diagnosed with CHL and received induction therapy between April 2015 and June 2022 in our hospital.

Patients with lymphoid malignancies have impaired humoral immunity caused by the disease itself and its treatment, placing them at risk for severe coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) and reduced response to vaccination. However, data for COVID-19 vaccine responses in patients with mature T cell and NK-cell neoplasms are very limited. In this study of 19 patients with mature T/NK-cell neoplasms, anti-severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) spike antibodies were measured at 3 months, 6 months, and 9 months after the second mRNA-based vaccination.
