Objectives Dermatomyositis (DM) is often associated with fatal anti-melanoma differentiation-associated gene 5 (MDA5) antibody-positive rapidly progressive interstitial lung disease (RP-ILD). RP-ILD often fails to respond to intensive treatment and has a poor prognosis.
