Article Synopsis
  • This study investigates the connection between neonatal uterine blood (NUB) and the development of early-onset endometriosis, hypothesizing that endometrial mesenchymal stem cells (eMSCs) could play a role.
  • Researchers analyzed neonatal endometria and NUB samples to assess various biological markers, focusing on hormone receptors, cell proliferation, and immune cell presence.
  • The results showed differences in immunoexpression between neonatal and adult endometria, but no evidence of eMSCs in NUB, challenging the proposed link between NUB and early-onset endometriosis.
