A 5-month-old boy with ultrasonography showing bilateral hydronephrosis, referred for renal scan. On Tc-L,L,ethylenedicysteine (Tc-LLEC) renal scan, tracer blush in flow images in the region of urinary bladder was seen and tumor mass was suspected. Contrast-enhanced CT showed a soft tissue mass in sacrococcygeal region.

We analysed 41 consecutive patients (19 classified as Child-Pugh A, 17 as Child-Pugh B, and 5 as Child-Pugh C; MELD score ranged from 7 to 28) who underwent PCT prior to liver transplantation/liver resections between 2013 and 2016.

The present study was conducted to investigate the hypoglycemic and hypolipidemic activity of ethanolic ferula assa-foetida oleo-gum-resin extract (FAOGRETE) and also its effects on liver and kidney function in streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetic rats. Laparoscopic repair of a right paraduodenal hernia has been described sparingly in literature. We present an account of how we laparoscopically repaired a right paraduodenal hernia along with a review of the current literature as regards the various techniques that have been attempted. With the patient in supine position, and with umbilical camera port and three 5 mm ports, we mobilized the cecum and ascending colon up to the third part of the duodenum, thereby widening the neck of the hernia sac in the Waldeyer fossa.

The influence of 8 MeV energy electron beam (EB) irradiation on optical properties and ionic conductivity of PVDF-HFP/LiClO (90 : 10 PHL10) electrolyte film with 40, 80 and 120 kGy doses. The FT-IR results show that C[double bond, length as m-dash]O bond stretching at 1654 cm is due to the degradation of polymer chains and the CH bond wagging intensity at 1405 cm corresponds to C-H bond scissioning in the 120 kGy dose irradiated film. H and C NMR spectroscopy was performed and the C NMR spectra confirm the effect of EB irradiation of the PHL10 polymer electrolyte by sharpening and splitting the spectral lines with increasing EB dose and revealing a new spectral line at 162.
