Cushing's disease (CD) is characterized by a high rate of hypogonadism and infertility. It is difficult to detect CD in pregnant women who present with symptoms such as weight gain, striae, headache, backache, and pedal edema that overlap with the physiological changes of pregnancy. In this paper, we present three cases of CD likely missed during pregnancy and later also discuss the approach to diagnosis and management of CD in pregnancy.

Solid phase microextraction (SPME) has emerged as a versatile sample preparation technique for the preconcentration of a broad range of compounds with various polarities, especially in environmental studies. SPME has demonstrated its eco-friendly credentials, significantly reducing the reliance on solvents. The use of biocompatible materials as a coating recipe facilitates the acceptance of SPME devices in analytical chemistry, primarily in the monitoring of environmental pollutants such as persistent organic pollutants (POPs), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and pesticides from the various environmental matrices.

This bibliometric study analyzes the evolving field of thermotherapy, a medical treatment that utilizes heat to treat various conditions, including cancer, by applying controlled temperatures to targeted tissues. Utilizing bibliographic data from the core collection of Web of Science and analysis software Biblioshiny and VOSviewer, we analyzed several key metrics to gain insights into the development and trends in thermotherapy research. The annual scientific production revealed a significant increase in publications over the past two decades, reflecting growing interest in this field.

Genome-wide copy number variation regions in indigenous (Bos indicus) cattle breeds of Tamil Nadu, India.

Long-term outcomes of percutaneous coronary intervention in patients with prior coronary artery bypass graft - A retrospective experience.

Objective: To evaluate the long-term clinical outcomes of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in patients who had previously undergone coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG).

Method: A total of 219 patients who had a history of CABG and underwent PCI at tertiary care centre were retrospectively enrolled in this study. Clinical endpoints such as major adverse cardiac events (MACE; cardiac death, non-fatal myocardial infarction [MI], and target vessel revascularization), any death, cardiac death, MI, target vessel revascularization (TVR), and target lesion revascularisation (TLR) were reported at long-term follow-up.
