In this work, an antigen-down photoelectrochemical (PEC) immunosensor based on a signal polarity switching strategy for the detection of cytokeratin 19 fragment 21-1 (CYFRA21-1) was proposed. 3,4,9,10-Perylene tetracarboxylic acid (PTCA) is a conjugated organic dye containing five benzene nuclei, which has excellent film-forming and optical properties. PTCA sensitized by SnS can further improve the basal signal and the stability of the PEC immunosensor.

The risk associated with permafrost settlement, valuable for the regional sustainable development, remains poorly assessed or understood on the QTP. In this study, three common Geo-hazard indices were used to assess the settlement risks in the permafrost regions of the QTP, including the settlement index, the risk zonation index, and the allowable bearing capacity index.

This study has investigated the contribution of precipitation to water within the active layer at three long-term observation sites, including Fenghuoshan (FHS), Hoh Xil (KKXL) and Wudaoliang (WDL), by using isotopic tracer technique and two-component mixing model. The results showed that precipitation was the predominant source for water within the active layer, permafrost and ground ice near permafrost table at the three sites.

Severe lactic acidosis has been reported during entecavir (ETV) treatment in patients with impaired liver function.
Aim: To investigate the rescuing efficacy and safety of ETV in patients with CHB-associated liver failure.
Studies are limited regarding the association between the quantity of hepatitis virus B (HBV) DNA loads in serum and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) in patients with drug resistance and few studies focus on the mutational pattern of the polymerase gene of HBV in PBMCs of patients with drug resistance. The aim of the present study was to investigate the association between the quantity of HBV DNA loads in serum and PBMCs in patients with lamivudine (LAM) or telbivudine (LdT) resistance and to explore the mutational pattern of the polymerase gene of HBV in PBMCs of these patients. A total of 51 patients underwent antiviral therapy with LAM or LdT for at least half a year.

Methods: The clinical data and serial sera of 313 chronic HBV infected patients (249 chronic hepatitis B and 64 liver cirrhosis) treated with lamivudine were collected. YMDD variations were determined by mispairing PCR-RFLP assay.
