Curcumin, a naturally occurring polyphenol with potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, has been underutilized in islet protection due to challenges associated with its co-delivery and formulation. Developing a novel and potent adjuvant with excellent biocompatibility for immune response augmentation is crucial for enhancing vaccine efficacy. Chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is a significant global public health concern, and the clearance of HBV is closely linked to the activity of HBV-specific T cells, which is regulated by various co-suppressor molecules.
