Small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) are minute vesicles secreted by various cells that are capable of transporting cargo, including microRNAs, between donor and recipient cells. MicroRNAs (miRNAs), small non-coding RNAs approximately 22 nucleotides in length, have been implicated in a wide array of biological processes, including those involved in tumorigenesis. Activated carbon and metal organic frameworks have been tested as NH recovery adsorbents, however, they are limited due to low NH adsorption capacity and high cost, respectively. In this study, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) polymers as the representative ester plastics were tested, and their structure and adsorption sites were regulated using HNO, HCl, or HSO with varied H concentrations.
