Phillygenin regulates proliferation and apoptosis of non-small cell lung cancer through by AMPK/ERK/NF-κB axis.

An increasing number of studies have demonstrated that phillygenin (PG) exerts anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer activities. However, the effects of PG on the proliferation and invasion in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells have not been clarified. In this study, MTT assay and flow cytometry were conducted to investigate the effect of PG on proliferation and apoptosis of NSCLC cells , respectively.

[Construction and expression of the eukaryotic expression vector carrying HSV-1 gC glycoprotein gene].

Aim: To stably express herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) glycoprotein C (gC) in Chinese hamster ovary cells (CHO-K1).

Methods: The eukaryotic expression vector pCI-mCMV-gC-1-IRES-DHFR-L22R was constructed and transfected into CHO-K1 cells by Lipofectamine 2000. The transfected cells were selected by G418 and methotrexate (MTX).
