This study investigated the modification of highland barley bran through co-fermentation of Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Kluyveromyces marxianus, and developed a dynamic prediction model for DF content under these co-fermentation conditions using machine learning algorithms. Purpose: The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of uveal effusion in acute primary angle closure (APAC), chronic primary angle-closure glaucoma (PACG), and primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG).

Methods: A total of 152 consecutive patients (287 eyes) with APAC, PACG, and POAG were enrolled in this prospective and observational case series study. Intraocular pressure-lowering medications were used and ultrasound biomicroscopy examination was undertaken to determine the presence of uveal effusion and measure anterior chamber parameters.

In the present study, we transplanted bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells into the CA3 area of the hippocampus of chronic epilepsy rats kindled by lithium chloride-pilocarpine. Immunofluorescence and western blotting revealed an increase in adenosine A1 receptor expression and a decrease in adenosine A2a receptor expression in the brain tissues of epileptic rats 3 months after transplantation. Moreover, the imbalance in the A1 adenosine receptor/A2a adenosine receptor ratio was improved.

Objective: To evaluate the value of human fatty acid binding protein (h-FABP) in predicting myocardial ischemia and injury in the perioperative period of cardiac surgery, we observed the dynamic changes of h-FABP in perioperative period of patients underwent coronary artery bypass grafting and ventricular septal defects repairing surgery, and evaluated the relationship of h-FABP and ischemia modified albumin (IMA), CK-MB, cTnI.

Methods: Patients underwent coronary artery bypass grafting (n=30) and ventricular septal defect repairing (n=30) surgery between February 2008 and December 2008 were included in this study. Venous blood sample was obtained at preoperative, aortic clamping, aortic unclamping of 10 min, 2 h, 6 h, 12 h, 24 h for the measurements of h-FABP, IMA, cTnI and CK-MB.
