Bimetallic Au@Ag nano-sea urchins (Au@Ag NSUs) functionalized with methimazole were synthesized and combined with paper tips as efficient surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrates for ultrasensitive Cr(VI) detection. The redox reaction between methimazole and Cr(VI) ensured the reliability of quantitative Cr(VI) analysis. When droplets were continuously dropped on the tip of the paper, based on the gravity effect, the nanoparticles achieved enrichment at the front end of the tip, which further improved the sensitivity of detection.

With the shortage of fresh water, abundant seawater resources should be developed as the main raw material for water electrolysis. However, since the precipitation reaction of chloride ions in seawater will compete with the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and corrode the catalyst, seawater electrolysis is restricted by the decrease in activity, low stability, and selectivity.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFLead halide perovskite quantum dots have drawn worldwide attention due to their quantum confinement effect and excellent optical gain properties. It is worth noting that due to the toxicity of lead ions and the inherent instability of organic groups, research on all-inorganic lead-free metal halide perovskite quantum dots (ILFHPQDs) has become a hot spot in recent years. This paper summarizes the latest research progress of ILFHPQDs, analyzes the sources and limitations affecting the performance of ILFHPQDs, and provides the improvement methods.

CuO-NiO-MgO/γ-AlO was used as the catalyst and HO as the resources of . Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray Powder Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Energy-Dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) were employed to evaluate the structure of the catalyst.

FT-IR and TGA characterizations indicate the formation of robust bonding between BAPDPF and QDs; the structures of the bare QDs and BAPDPF-CdS QD hybrid nanocomposites estimated by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) showed that they have the same size of about 3.5 nm.

Many techniques have been designed to eliminate the epicanthal fold and create a beautiful palpebral fissure with less scarring produced in the medial canthus. However, many of these procedures were designed to correct the epicanthus completely and create an out-type of palpebral fold, which leaves a minor scar in the epicanthus and an unnatural eye appearance.
