It is critical to find efficient non-invasive prognostic factor for osteosarcoma. In this study, we demonstrated that serum protein of pro-surfactant protein B (pro-SFTPB) may be a potential diagnostic indicator in osteosarcoma. We found that serum pro-SFTPB was highly expressed in osteosarcoma patients and presented good diagnostic value to discern osteosarcoma patients from non-osteosarcoma control subjects.
