Genome Sequencing of Chromosome 1 Substitution Lines Derived from Chinese Wild Mice Revealed a Unique Resource for Genetic Studies of Complex Traits.

Mouse resources such as Collaborative Cross, outbred stocks, Hybrid Mouse Diversity Panel, and chromosome substitution strains have been instrumental to many progresses in the studies of complex traits genetics. We have established a population of chromosome 1 (Chr 1) substitution lines (C1SLs) in which donor chromosomes were derived from Chinese wild mice. Genome sequencing of 18 lines of this population showed that Chr 1 had been replaced by the donor chromosome.

Posaconazole vs. fluconazole as invasive fungal infection prophylaxis in China: a multicenter, randomized, open-label study.

Background: Invasive fungal infection (IFI) is common in neutropenic patients with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). Posaconazole is a broad-spectrum triazole antifungal drug with efficacy in prevention of IFI; however, it has not been previously studied as prophylaxis in a Chinese population.

Methods: This multicenter, randomized study in China enrolled AML and MDS patients with persistent chemotherapy-induced neutropenia.

[Clinical study on "sini" decoction on treating stenocardia for coronary heart disease].

Objective: To observe clinical effect of "Sini" decoction on stenocardia for coronary heart disease.

Methods: 65 cases of stenocardia for CHD with deficiency of yang or cold syndrome were randomly divided into" Sini" decoction therapeutic group and isosorbide dinitrate controll group. Drug effects of the two groups were compared by clinical symptoms, electrocardiogram (ECG), myocardial oxygen consumption and cardiac function.

[Lower limb hemodynamic evaluation in patients with diabetic foot using 99mTc-methylene diphosphonate three-phase bone scintigraphy].

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of (99m)Tc-methylene diphosphonate (MDP) bone scintigraphy in diagnosis of diabetic foot.

Methods: (99m)Tc-MDP three-phase bone imaging was performed in 56 patients with diabetic foot and 36 non-diabetic control subjects, each foot was analyzed independently. The radioactive concentration per pixel hence the foot to tibia ratio (R(m/t)) was calculated and the time-radioactivity curve of each region of interest generated.
