Previous ultrasound studies suggest that patients with adenomyosis (AM) exhibit increased uterine cavity stiffness, although direct evidence regarding extracellular matrix (ECM) content and its specific impact on endometrial stiffness remains limited. This study utilized atomic force microscopy to directly measure endometrial stiffness and collagen morphology, enabling a detailed analysis of the endometrium's mechanical properties: through this approach, we established direct evidence of increased endometrial stiffness and fibrosis in patients with AM. Endometrial specimens were also stained with Picrosirius red or Masson's trichrome to quantify fibrosis, and additional analyses assessed α-SMA and Ki-67 expression.

The study population included 82 nursing professionals randomly assigned to the study group (n = 41) and the control group (n = 41). Both groups of nurses underwent a 6-month training in PI care skills and were subsequently evaluated.

Plant polyphenols have attracted a great deal of attention as potential interventions to regulate the intestinal microecology. In this study, we investigated the effects of apple peel polyphenol (APP) on the intestinal ecology by establishing an intestinal ecological dysregulation model using lincomycin hydrochloride-induced Balb/c mice.

We aimed to use Chinese real-world data to estimate the preventive effect of low-dose aspirin (LDA) on PE.
Methods: Clinical data of pregnant women who were at high risk of PE and had their first prenatal visit at the affiliated Taicang People's Hospital of Soochow University during November 31, 2018 and May 10, 2021 was retrospectively analyzed.

The authors aimed to explore the association between visit-to-visit blood pressure variability (BPV) in pregnant women and adverse neonatal outcomes. The study included 52 891 pregnant women. BPV was calculated as standard deviation (SD) and coefficient of variation (CV) of systolic blood pressure (SBP) or diastolic blood pressure (DBP).

However, the pathogenesis of PE is unclear and reliable early diagnostic methods are still lacking. The purpose of this review is to summarize potential metabolic biomarkers and pathways of PE, which might facilitate risk prediction and clinical diagnosis, and obtain a better understanding of specific metabolic mechanisms of PE.

Cervical cancer (CC) is a common malignancy in women. Long noncoding RNA LINC00899 plays a role in cancer, but its effects in CC are unknown. Our experiment aims to investigate the specific effects of LINC00899 in CC.

In pregnant women whose hemodynamic changes are unique, the role of VVV in hypertensive disorders is still obscure. Therefore, we aimed to investigate the association of VVV with gestational hypertension (GH) and pre-eclampsia (PE).

Objective: To explore the association between tea consumption and cognitive impairment (CoI).
Methods: 4579 adults (≥60 years) from the Weitang Geratric Diseases Study were assessed for characteristics of tea consumption and cognitive function by administering questionnaires and the Abbreviated Mental Test (AMT), respectively. We divided the subjects into normal cognitive function group (AMT score ≥8) and CoI group (AMT score ≤7).
Potassium hydride (KH) was directly added to a Mg(NH2)2-2LiH system to improve the hydrogen storage properties; the corresponding mechanisms were elucidated. The Mg(NH2)2-2LiH-0.08KH composite displays optimized hydrogen-storage properties, reversibly storing approximately 5.

The Mg(NH2)2-2 LiH-0.08 RbF composite exhibits the optimal hydrogen-storage properties as it could reversibly store approximately 4.
