This study evaluates the performance of moderate-resolution Imaging spectroradiometer (MODIS) in aerosol optical depth(AOD) and Ångström exponent(AE) retrievals under high aerosol loading conditions across various aerosol types, utilizing ground-based and space-borne aerosol measurements in Shouxian, China. The intercomparison reveals cloud-aerosol LiDAR with orthogonal polarization's (CALIOP) efficacy in detecting significant aerosol layers and the refinement of sunphotometer-based aerosol type classification through CALIPSO, achieving approximately 80% accuracy. Analysis of 2016-2017 data indicates substantial aerosol presence in Shouxian, with monthly mean AODs ranging from 0.

The experiments indicated that a progressive structural evolution occurs as the sequence below: hexagonal (space group (SG): 3̅) → monoclinic (SG: ) started at 2.

In recent years, urban floods have occurred frequently in China. Therefore, there is an urgent need to strengthen urban flood resilience. This paper proposed a hybrid multi-criteria group decision-making method to assess urban flood resilience based on heterogeneous data, group decision-making methodologies, the pressure-state-response model, and social-economic-natural complex ecosystem theory (PSR-SENCE model).

Methods: Copper metabolism-related genes were sourced from previous literatures and were selected by the Univariate Cox regression. Cu-enrichment scores were calculated via ssGSEA.
This study investigates the macroscopic and optical properties of cirrus clouds in the 32N region from July 2016 to May 2017, leveraging data from ground-based lidar observations and CALIOP to overcome the inconsistencies in detected cirrus cloud samples. Through extensive data analysis, statistical characteristics of cirrus clouds were discerned, revealing lidar ratio values of 28.5 ± 10.

Real-world data on stomach blood supply in the Chinese population were examined.
Materials And Methods: A total of 516 cases were enrolled, categorized into two groups based on the Youden index-determined optimal cut-off value for the relative length of RGEA (length of RGEA/length of gastric conduit, 64.

Immunoglobulin (Ig) G4 has a distinctive nature, and its involvement in autoimmune disorders is a subject of ongoing debate and uncertainty. A growing body of evidence indicates that IgG4 may play a pathogenic role in the development of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The IgG4 autoantibodies have the capability to bind autoantigens in a competitive manner with other Ig classes, thereby forming immune complexes (ICs) that are noninflammatory in nature.

This study aims to develop a prognostic model for pancreatic cancer using a platelet-related gene risk score. Prognostic platelet-related genes (PRGs) were identified from public databases and analyzed using cluster analysis.

Perioperative decreased serum albumin level is considered a predictive of AL, however, its impact on AL incidence in patients treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NCT) followed by minimally invasive esophagectomy (MIE) is not well defined.
Methods: The data of 318 consecutive esophageal cancer patients who underwent MIE were collected retrospectively from January 2021 to December 2021.
Fourier ptychographic imaging technology is a new imaging method proposed in recent years. This technology captures multiple low-resolution images, and synthesizes them into a high-resolution image in the Fourier domain by a phase retrieval algorithm, breaking through the diffraction limit of the lens. In the field of macroscopic Fourier ptychographic imaging, most of the existing research generally focus on high-resolution imaging of static objects, and applying Fourier ptychographic imaging technology to dynamic objects is a hot research area now.

Given the unique anatomical positioning of the nerve, performing lymphadenectomy in this region requires advanced techniques within limited working space. Meanwhile, high incidence of morbidity and mortality is associated with lymphadenectomy.

However, such studies have not focused on Sternorrhyncha in China, although this region hosts massive species distribution data. Here, based on the 15,450 distribution records of Sternorrhyncha species in China, we analyzed patterns in species richness and endemism at 1° × 1° grid size and determined the effects of environmental variables on these patterns using correlations analysis and the model averaging approach.

Single-cell RNA sequencing enables a comprehensive study of the highly complex tumor microenvironment, which is conducive to exploring the evolutionary trajectory of tumor cells. Herein, we carried out comprehensive analyses of aggrephagy-related cell clusters based on single-cell sequencing for patients with acute myeloid leukemia.

How angiogenesis affects the molecular pathways in malignancies is still a mystery. The angiopoietin family, one of the known molecular mediators for angiogenesis, encourages angiogenesis by attaching to Tie receptors on cell surfaces.

Methods: The data of 1026 consecutive esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) patients who underwent minimally invasive esophagectomy (MIE) were retrospectively collected. The main inclusion criteria were patients with locally advanced (cT2-4N0-3M0) ESCC who underwent neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy (NCRT) or neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NCT) followed by MIE, and divided into two groups according to different neoadjuvant strategies.
Background: To compare the perioperative outcomes from McKeown minimally invasive esophagectomy (MIE) when performed in three-dimensional versus two-dimensional visualization system, and investigate the learning curve of a single surgeon who implemented three-dimensional McKeown MIE.
Methods: A total of 335 consecutive cases (three-dimensional or two-dimensional) were identified. Perioperative clinical parameters were compared and cumulative sum learning curve was plotted.
Platelet-derived microvesicles (PMVs), the microvesicles with the highest concentration in the bloodstream, play a key role in the regulation of hemostasis, inflammation, and angiogenesis. PMVs have recently been identified as key factors in the link between platelets and cancer. PMVs bind to both cancer cells and nontransformed cells in the microenvironment of the tumor, and then transfer platelet-derived contents to the target cell.

In this study, we intended to assess the efficacy of the neoadjuvant therapy of the PD-1 inhibitor and long-term prognosis in patients with resectable NSCLC.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed NSCLC surgical patients treated with neoadjuvant therapy in our hospital, and divided them into a neoadjuvant chemotherapy group and a neoadjuvant immunotherapy combined with chemotherapy group.
Long-range light detection and ranging (lidar) of active illumination optical imaging has widespread applications, such as remote sensing, satellite-based global topography, and target recognition and identification. Here, to make trade-offs among imaging efficiency, resolution, receiving field of view, divergence angle, and detected distance, we demonstrate a scanning single-pixel imaging lidar (SSPIL), enjoying the merits of the traditional pointing-by-pointing scanning imaging and single-pixel imaging. The imaging strategy of SSPIL is divided into scanning search and staring imaging processes.
