The ketogenic diet (KD) has demonstrated efficacy in ameliorating inflammation in rats with osteoarthritis (OA). Background: Although many risk factors for residual pain following percutaneous vertebroplasty or kyphoplasty (PVP or PKP) have been reported in many studies, research methods and cohorts differ greatly. A previous meta-analysis identified patient- and operation-specific risk factors for residual pain. This study aimed to examine the available data and identify significant risk factors for residual pain after PVP or PKP.

Objective: In this study, we introduced a design of a targeted puncture trajectory applied to unilateral extrapedicular percutaneous vertebroplasty.

Methods: 62 individuals with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures (OVCF) were included in this research at the Tongling People's Hospital, from January 2019 to December 2020. Percutaneous Vertebroplasty (PVP) was performed on all patients using a targeted unilateral extrapedicular puncture technique guided by G-arm fluoroscopy.

Cell biomedical behavior is influenced by a number of factors, and the extracellular matrix (ECM) of the cellular microenvironment affects certain cancer cells. In the current study, U‑2OS cells were cultured on gold surfaces modified with different terminal chemical groups [methyl (‑CH3), amino (‑NH2), hydroxyl (‑OH) and carboxyl (‑COOH)]. The results revealed that different chemical surfaces convey different behaviors.
