Developing lightweight and broadband microwave absorbers for dealing with serious electromagnetic radiation pollution is a great challenge. Here, a novel Fe-Co/N-doped carbon/reduced graphene oxide (Fe-Co/NC/rGO) composite with hierarchically porous structure was designed and synthetized by in situ growth of Fe-doped Co-based metal organic frameworks (Co-MOF) on the sheets of porous cocoon-like rGO followed by calcination. Rapid screening of patients for colonization with carbapenemase-producing organisms (CPO), coupled with implementation of infection prevention strategies, has the potential to contain the spread of CPO. This paper describes an integrated microfluidic SlipChip device for rapid antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) of bloodstream pathogens in positive blood cultures. Unlike conventional AST methods, which rely on an overnight subculture of positive blood cultures to obtain isolated colonies, this device enables direct extraction and enrichment of the bacteria from positive blood cultures by dielectrophoresis. Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) belong to a promising class of biopharmaceuticals in which target-killing of tumor cells was achieved by marrying the potency of the cytotoxic payload with the tumor specificity of the antibody. Here we developed a novel ADC (ZV0508) that targets 5T4 oncofetal antigen, which is overexpressed in many carcinomas on both bulk tumor cells and cancer stem cells.
