  • The study explores mental health stigma from an interdependent perspective, focusing on how seeking help could negatively impact one's family reputation, as opposed to the independent perspective of personal stigma.

  • Results showed varying levels of ISSH across countries, with Hong Kong and Taiwan reporting higher stigma levels, suggesting that the scale could aid in understanding stigma's complexity and inform culturally relevant mental health interventions.
