Cullin-based RING ligases (CRLs) comprise the largest family of ubiquitin E3 ligases. CRL activity is tightly regulated by cullin neddylation, which has been associated with various diseases. Although inhibitors of CRLs neddylation have been reported, there is a lack of small molecules that can selectively target individual cullins.

The detection of free cancer cells (FCCs) in the peritoneal cavity has been demonstrated to be one of the worst prognostic factors for GC. However, there is a lack of sensitive detection methods for FCCs in the peritoneal cavity.

A durable splint, along with occlusal and periodontal monitoring, is required as healing progresses slowly and may be insufficient.

Interestingly, not all hotspot mutations on NFE2L2 were damaging; some even were activating. However, there was conflicting evidence about the association between NFE2L2 mutation and Nrf2-activating mutation and responsiveness to immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and other multiple cancers.

The reaction exhibited a broad substrate scope and could be applied to a gram-scale synthesis. The "one-pot" reaction, which avoids the utility of presynthesized and moisture-labile organometallic compounds, is operationally simple and step-economic.

It is also an intrinsically disordered protein and considered "undruggable". In the present study, we confirmed that knocking out SDC4 in pancreatic cancer cells markedly impaired macropinocytosis, colony formation, as well as xenograft tumor initiation and growth.

However, the underlying mechanisms of BMSCs applied to MI treatment remain unclear. Fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACs) are performed to assess the apoptosis, reactive oxygen species levels and glucose uptake capacity of BMSCs.

Objectives: This study aimed to assess the beneficial effects of pancreatic kininogenase (PK) in a rat model of chronic TAC nephrotoxicity and in vitro.
Chemotherapy remains the primary treatment of advanced solid cancer, including lung cancer. However, as first-line treatment, cisplatin-based therapy is restricted by the frequent development of drug resistance. Increasing data showed that the programmed cell death protein ligand 1 (PD-L1) plays a vital role in regulating cisplatin resistance.

Previous studies have reported that worsening of MVP occurred early after radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) at papillary muscles in ventricular tachycardia (VT) patients with preoperative MVP.
Case Summary: We report a case where MVP and papillary muscle rupture occurred 2 wk after RFCA in a papillary muscle originated VT patient without mitral valve regurgitation or prolapse before.

Purpose: In order to solve the problem of accurate and effective segmentation of the patient's lung computed tomography (CT) images, so as to improve the efficiency of treating lung cancer.
Method: We propose a U-Net network (DC-U-Net) fused with dilated convolution, and compare the results of segmented lung CT with DC-U-Net, Otsu and region growth. We use Intersection over Union (IOU), Dice coefficient, Precision and Recall to evaluate the performance of the three algorithms.

Purpose: Esophageal cancer is a common malignant tumor in life, which seriously affects human health. In order to reduce the work intensity of doctors and improve detection accuracy, we proposed esophageal cancer detection using deep learning. The characteristics of deep learning: association and structure, activity and experience, essence and variation, migration and application, value and evaluation.

The present study investigated the mechanisms underlying the response and resistance to 5‑fluorouracil (5‑FU) in colorectal cancer (CRC) cell lines. In engineered 5‑FU‑resistant CRC cell lines, a significant elevation of lysosome‑associated membrane protein 2A (LAMP2A), which is the key molecule in the CMA pathway, was identified.

The role of DUSP26 in the development and prognosis of high-grade gliomas (HGGs) and primary glioblastoma (GBM) has remained unclear and was the focus of this study.
Materials And Methods: The prognostic value of DUSP26 was assessed using retrospective analyses using online data sets and tissue microarray of HGGs.
Background: Despite the prominent development of medical technology in recent years, the prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is still not optimistic. It is crucial to identify more reliable diagnostic biomarkers for the early diagnosis and personalized therapy of NSCLC and clarify the molecular mechanisms underlying NSCLC progression.
Methods: In the present study, bioinformatics analysis was performed on three datasets obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus to identify the NSCLC-associated differentially expressed genes (DEGs).
Phosphatidylserine synthase (PSS)-mediated phosphatidylserine (PS) synthesis is crucial for plant development. However, little is known about the contribution of PSS to Na homeostasis regulation and salt tolerance in plants. Here, we cloned the gene, which encodes an ortholog of , from sweet potato ( (L.

Method: A total of 2700 children aged 3-5 years and their parents from Zhejiang province were examined. Chi-square test or U test was used to analyse the difference of caries incidence among different groups.
Objective: To investigate the curative and adverse effects (AEs) of additional use of nimotuzumab combined with induction chemotherapy and concurrent chemoradiotherapy in unresectable locoregionally advanced hypopharyngeal carcinoma.
Patients And Methods: We retrospectively evaluated 36 patients with stage III or IVA hypopharyngeal carcinoma who received induction chemotherapy followed by concurrent chemoradiotherapy with or without nimotuzumab. The induction chemotherapy included two or three cycles of TPF regimen.
It is known that the low lifetime of photogenerated carriers is the main drawback of elemental photocatalysts. Therefore, a facile and versatile one-step strategy to simultaneously achieve the oxygen covalent functionalization of amorphous red phosphorus (RP) and in situ modification of CdCO is reported. This strategy endows RP with enhanced charge carrier separation ability and photocatalytic activity by coupling band-gap engineering and heterojunction construction.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the clinical effect of modified tunnel technique (MTUN) in the treatment of gingival recession with non-carious cervical lesion (NCCL).
Methods: Forty-two teeth with Miller I degree gingival recession were divided into the NCCL group or control group depending on whether NCCL was present. Both groups were treated with MTUN plus subepithelial connective tissue.

Objective: To explore the mechanism of smoking that promotes chronic periodontitis from the perspective of gingival microcirculation.
Methods: In experiment one, upper anterior teeth (n=102) from smokers with chronic periodontitis (Group A), nonsmokers with chronic periodontitis (Group B), and nonsmokers with healthy periodontal conditions (Group C) were selected to undergo gingival blood flow (GBF) through laser doppler flowmetry. In experiment two, the tissues obtained from gums during periodontal flap surgery were divided into smoking (Group A') and nonsmoking (Group B') groups, and the gingival tissue obtained from periodontal healthy nonsmokers treated with crown lengthening surgery or impacted wisdom tooth extraction served as the control group (Group C').
Lipid remodeling plays an important role in the adaptation of plants to environmental factors, but the mechanism by which lipid remodeling mediates salt stress response remains unclear. In this study, we compared the root and leaf lipidome profiles of salt-tolerant and salt-sensitive sweet potato cultivars (Xu 22 and Xu 32, respectively) under salinity stress. After salt treatment, the leaf lipidome showed more significant remodeling than the root lipidome in both cultivars.
