Objective: To establish a model to predict UPA, and therefore, bypass the need for AVS prior to surgery.
Nitrate is an essential nutrient and an important signaling molecule in plants. However, the molecular mechanisms by which plants perceive nitrate deficiency signaling are still not well understood. Methods: Patients with CHD who underwent PCI in 2013 were recruited, and divided into COPD group and non-COPD group.
Background And Aims: The present study aimed to examine the association between big endothelin-1 (big ET-1) and long-term all-cause death in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) and different glucose metabolism status.
Methods And Results: We consecutively enrolled 8550 patients from January 2013 to December 2013. Patients were categorized according to both status of glucose metabolism status [Diabetes Mellitus (DM), Pre-Diabetes (Pre-DM), Normoglycemia (NG)] and big ET-1 levels.
As a clinical subtype of SWI/SNF-related intellectual disability syndromes, Nicolaides-Baraitser syndrome (NCBRS, OMIM601358) has a unique genotype-phenotype. Due to the scarcity of the number of cases reported and the limitations of diagnosis methods, so far only more than 80 cases have been reported worldwide. In this article, a new patient with a de novo mutation was followed up for 10 years; it includes the epilepsy treatment process, the characteristics of NBCRS with seizures, typical faces, sparse hair, prominent interphalangeal joints, and intellectual disability, and we also summarized the genotype-phenotype of the 80 reported cases for comparison.

Methods: Postmenopausal women who underwent medical examinations in one health-checkup agency in Tianjin from May 2015 to October 2015 were enrolled in this study. The ICVD 10-year Risk Assesment Form developed by the research team of the National "Tenth Five-Year Plan" research project was used to assess the factors affecting the risk of ICVD.
Objective: This study aimed to identify changes in T-cell factor-1 (TCF1) in circulating T-cell subsets of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients and to explore their significance in SLE.
Methods: Peripheral blood was collected from 41 SLE patients and 45 healthy controls (HCs). TCF1 in follicular helper T (TFH), follicular regulatory T (TFR) and regulatory T (Treg) cells was analyzed by flow cytometry.

Objective: To explore the accuracy of intelligent calculation (IC) method for risk assessment of hospitalization for patients, aiming to build a more advantageous risk assessment system.
Methods: The "Search Engine" program was developed based on hospital information system (HIS) of the Fifth Center Hospital in Tianjin, which automatically captured patient information and generated nutritional risk screening 2002 (NRS 2002) score, Caprini thrombosis risk assessment model and Padua thrombosis risk assessment model for venous thromboembolism (VTE), the CHADS-VASc for predicting stroke risk stratification in atrial fibrillation and the HAS-BLED for predicting bleeding risk in anticoagulated patients with atrial fibrillation. A randomized controlled trial was conducted.
