We aimed to examine the effect of self-appraisal of the clinical simulation care task (CSCT-SA) action program on the self-learning effectiveness, self-reflection and insight, caring behavior, nursing competence, and professional socialization of novice nursing students. This study has a single-group longitudinal research design.
