Background Zuogui Wan (ZGW) is a traditional herbal formula used to treat chronic kidney and bone diseases. Previous research has shown that ZGW slows down the aging process of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) and improves bone metabolism. However, its role in treating postmenopausal osteoporosis (PMOP) has not yet been fully investigated.

Recent preclinical and clinical trials have further demonstrated that the transplantation of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) derived from human adipose tissue (AD), dental pulp (DP), placental amniotic membrane (AM), and umbilical cord (UC) tissues can serve as an effective form of cell therapy for osteoporosis. However, MSC-mediated osteoimmunology and the ability of these cells to regulate osteoclast-osteoblast differentiation varies markedly among different types of MSCs.

Activation of hepatic macrophages, important innate immune cells predominantly composed of Kupffer cells, plays a pivotal role in NAFLD initiation and progression. Recent findings have underscored the regulatory role of microbes in both local and distal immune responses, including in the liver, emphasizing their contribution to NAFLD initiation and progression.

In this study, a series of Ni-xCeO/MCM-41 catalysts with a nickel content of 20wt% were prepared through deposition precipitation method for CO methanation. Different characterization methods, including BET, XRD, TEM, SEM, H-TPR and H-TPD were applied to help explore the influence mechanism of CeO on Ni/MCM-41 in CO methanation.
