This study aimed to clarify the effect of electrostatic spraying of lactic acid (LE) and ascorbic acid (AE) on vacuum-packaged beef aged at 10 °C. The physicochemical attributes, flavor profiles, and microbial diversities were evaluated. Beef steaks were electrostatically sprayed twice with 4% LE, 0.

However, their poor porosity and permeability limit osteogenic cell ingrowth and vascularization, which is critical for bone regeneration. In the current study, we constructed a novel hierarchically-porous magnesium phosphate bone cement by incorporating extracellular matrix (ECM)-mimicking electrospun silk fibroin (SF) nanofibers.

In previous research reports, magnesium phosphate cements (MPCs) were widely used because of their excellent mechanical properties, which have been widely used in the field of orthopedic medicine. We built a new k-struvite (MPC) cement obtained from zinc oxide (ZnO) and assessed its osteogenic properties.

We initially investigated the growth activity, acid production capability, and tolerance to fermentation conditions of , , and . All three LAB strains proved viable as starters for fermented sausages.

However, little to no research has been undertaken that determines how this affects other important meat quality characteristics and microbial community. This study aims to decrease aging time by increasing temperature.

CD133 is a widely used cancer stem cell (CSC) marker, and CD133-positive cancer cells are thought to be tumor-initiating cells with CSC characteristics, while CXCR4, a stromal-derived-factor-1 specific chemokine receptor, is highly expressed in NSCLC tissues and participates in cancer progression by regulating cell anti-apoptosis. We previously demonstrated that CXCR4 promotes NSCLC chemoresistance by upregulating CYP1B1, however, the relationship of CD133, CXCR4 and EMT processes in NSCLC metastasis are unclear.
