Introduction: As China is scaling up tuberculosis preventive therapy (TPT) for people living with HIV (PLHIV) in its national programmes, the objective of this study was to evaluate the feasibility and performance of 6-month regimen of isoniazid monotherapy (6H) in terms of preventive therapy acceptance, adherence, effectiveness and outcomes in minority areas with a high burden of tuberculosis (TB) and HIV/AIDS.

Method: A prospective observational cohort study was initiated among 461 PLHIV in Butuo County after ruling out active TB (ATB) and followed up for up to 3 years to collect incidence events in real-world settings. TB incidence and protective rates were calculated.

Resonant inelastic X-ray scattering (RIXS) is an ideal X-ray spectroscopy method to push the combination of energy and time resolutions to the Fourier transform ultimate limit, because it is unaffected by the core-hole lifetime energy broadening. Also, in pump-probe experiments the interaction time is made very short by the same core-hole lifetime. RIXS is very photon hungry so it takes great advantage from high-repetition-rate pulsed X-ray sources like the European XFEL.

IgA nephropathy (IgAN) represents the main cause of renal failure, while the precise pathogenetic mechanisms have not been fully determined. Herein, we conducted a cross-species single-cell survey on human IgAN and mouse and rat IgAN models to explore the pathogenic programs. Cross-species single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-Seq) revealed that the IgAN mesangial cells (MCs) expressed high levels of inflammatory signatures CXCL12, CCL2, CSF1, and IL-34 and specifically interacted with IgAN macrophages via the CXCL12/CXCR4, CSF1/IL-34/CSF1 receptor, and integrin subunit alpha X/integrin subunit alpha M/complement C3 (C3) axes.

The contribution of urban non-point source (NPS) pollution to surface water pollution has gradually increased, analyzing the sources of urban NPS pollution is of great significance for precisely controlling surface water pollution. A bibliometric analysis of relevant research literature from 2000 to 2021 reveals that the main methods used in the source analysis research of urban NPS pollution include the emission inventory approach, entry-exit mass balance approach, principal component analysis (PCA), positive matrix factorization (PMF) model, etc. These methods are primarily applied in three aspects: source analysis of rainfall-runoff pollution, source analysis of wet weather flow (WWF) pollution in combined sewers, and analysis of the contribution of urban NPS to the surface water pollution load.
