A new species of the genus Myers & Leviton, 1962 is described from Sichuan Province, southwest China. Molecular phylogenetic analyses based on mitochondrial gene sequences clustered the new species as an independent clade nested with , , and . The new species could be distinguished from its congeners by a combination of the following characters: body size moderate (39.

As a common congener of PBDEs, decabromodiphenyl ether (BDE-209) can pose a health risk to animals as well as humans. However, to date, few studies have explored BDE-209's toxic effects on the intestinal tract, and its relevant mechanism of toxicity has not been elucidated.

Because of their persistence, high toxicity, bioaccumulation and long-distance mobility, SCCPs were added to the list of controlled POPs in the Stockholm Convention in 2017. China is the largest producer and user of SCCPs all over the world, thus SCCPs have been widely distributed in the freshwater environment.

As a typical class of endocrine disruptor chemicals (EDCs), PAEs posed adverse effects on aquatic organisms at low concentration. Thus, they have attracted wide attention in recent years.

Rejection templates based on the feature of the distractor can be built to constrain the search process. We measured electroencephalography (EEG) of human participants of both sexes when they performed a visual search task in conditions where the distractor cues were constant within a block (fixed cueing) or changed on a trial-by-trial basis (varied cueing).

The widespread use of TCS makes it frequently detected in various environmental mediums. In view of the high detection frequency of TCS in the aquatic environment and sediments, and its toxic effects on aquatic species, it is critical and necessary to derive Chinese TCS water quality criteria (WQC) and sediment quality criteria (SQC) for protecting Chinese aquatic organisms, and perform the ecological risk assessment.

However, the phylogenetic relationships based on large-scale chloroplast genomes (CpGenomes) were elusive. Moreover, most of the chloroplast DNA sequencing methods cannot meet the requirements of large-scale CpGenome sequencing, which greatly limits and impedes the in-depth research of plant genetics and evolution.

A pot experiment was carried out to test the effects of salt levels on root morphology as well as the relationship between root morphology and salt tolerance with four cotton cultivars (salt-sensitive cultivar CCRI45, weak salt-resistance cultivar XLZ17, moderate salt-resistance cultivar XLZ13 and salt-resistance cultivar CCRI35). Results showed that dry mass and K/Na ratio of cotton root and leaf were significantly reduced by salt stress. Dry mass of root and leaf and K/Na ratio of root of cultivars XLZ13 and CCRI35 were 69.

Information stored in the memory systems can affect visual search. Previous studies have shown that holding the to-be-ignored features of distractors in working memory (WM) could accelerate target selection. However, such facilitation effect was only observed when the cued to-be-ignored features remained unchanged within an experimental block (i.

Hypothyroid Hashimoto's thyroiditis (HT) is an autoimmune disorder manifested with environmental and genetic factors. However, it is hypothesized that intestinal microbes might play a vital role in the pathogenesis of HT.

The population of the animal has declined dramatically due to commercial poaching for the fiber. Traditional inspection for detection of shahtoosh has been performed by microscopic analysis.
