In this study, a highly efficient La-FeO/dielectric barrier discharge (DBD)/honeycomb ceramic plate synergistic catalytic system was successfully constructed by using modified iron oxide (FeO) catalyst coating assisted DBD plasma, and the prepared catalytic coating was fully characterized by various techniques. The results indicate that the lanthanum (La) is efficiently and uniformly doped in FeO, and the modified La-FeO catalyst exhibited a better photocatalytic performance. The overuse of Thiamphenicol (TAP), as a typical chloramphenicol antibiotic, has led to its accumulation in the aquatic environment.

Heavy metal ions and antibiotics were simultaneously detected in authentic water systems. This research, for the first time, employed synthesized sophorolipid-modified fly ash(SFA) to eliminate tetracycline(TC) and lead(Pb) from wastewater. This study bridges the knowledge gap pertaining to the pathways of heavy metal accumulation and migration within the industrial chain of large-scale cattle farms. The dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) multi-component system containing plasma, α-FeO/FeVO, and peroxymonosulfate (PMS) with high catalytic activity was successfully constructed. Thereinto, α-FeO/FeVO was loaded on the honeycomb ceramic plate (HCP) surface (α-FeO/FeVO/HCP) and placed under the water surface below the discharge area. The catalytic activity was evaluated by the removal rate of gatifloxacin (GAT), and the DBD+α-FeO/FeVO+PMS system exhibited the optimal catalytic activity.

Microplastics (MPs), as a new type of pollutants, have attracted wide attention especially in recent years, but there was insufficient research on the distribution and characteristics of MPs in urban park water body. In this study, the pollution of MPs in water and sediment of Xi'an, the largest city in northwest China, was investigated. The MPs concentration in the surface water and sediment was 2900-6970 items/m and 940-3560 items/kg, respectively.
