Lung large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma (LCNEC) is a rare and highly aggressive malignancy with a dismal prognosis. This study was designed to depict patterns of distant organ metastatic and to analyze prognosis of LCNEC patients. We gathered data from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database between 2010 and 2015.

Combined use of Lu-DOTATATE peptide receptor radionuclide therapy and fluzoparib for treatment of well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors: A preclinical study.

Peptide receptor radionuclide therapy ( Lu-DOTATATE) causes DNA strand breaks and has been validated for well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumor treatment. Poly-(ADP-ribose)-polymerase inhibitors have also been used for malignant tumors with deficient DNA repair. We aimed to determine whether the poly-(ADP-ribose)-polymerase inhibitor fluzoparib could enhance the anti-tumor effects of Lu-DOTATATE in neuroendocrine tumor cells and xenografts.
