Methods: Four-six week-old male BALB/c mice were divided into eight groups (G1-8, each group consisted of 7 mice), and they were infected orally with 500 T. canis eggs with L3.
Polymers play a critical role in the biomedical and sustainable materials fields, serving as key resources for both research and product development. While synthetic and natural polymers are both widely used, synthetic polymers have traditionally dominated due to their ability to meet the specific material requirements of most fiber fabrication methods. However, synthetic polymers are derived from non-renewable resources, and their production raises environmental and health concerns.

Objective: The production of 3-dimensional models and materials according to preoperative virtual surgical planning is a time-consuming process and causes high costs. We aimed to demonstrate the navigation mediated reconstruction of the patients who underwent the removal of a tumoral mass in midfacial region according to their preoperatively prepared surgical plannings.
Study Design: Patients who underwent the removal of tumoral mass and reconstruction in their midfacial region were included in the study.
Detailed literature search and writing is very important for the success of long research projects, publications and theses. Search engines provide significant convenience in research processes. However, conducting a comprehensive and systematic research on the web requires a long working process.

Many lifestyles have been connected to periodontal disease, but little is known about diet and PA intake. This study included 185 people-62 healthy, 61 gingivitis, and 62 periodontitis.

This study aims to explore the impact of these factors, along with socioeconomic background and familial factors, on gingivitis and oral hygiene practices in early adulthood among the Turkish population.
Materials And Methods: Patients were diagnosed using periodontal clinical and radiographic assessments, adhering to the 2017 World Workshop on the Classification of Periodontal and Peri-Implant Diseases and Conditions.

Background: The present study aimed to compare different pre-exercise strategies on jumping performance in female volleyball players.
Methods: Fifteen healthy female volleyball players (age=18±0.6 years; training experience = 7.
Introduction: Williams syndrome (WS) cases have been reported to have with 25-100 times greater increased risk of sudden cardiac death (SCD). SCD has been reported in cases without any evidence of structural cardiovascular anomalies. Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome is characterized by short PR interval and delta wave.

One of these negative outcomes is ductus arteriosus, especially in preterm babies. In this study, intrauterine heart function and ductus diameter were evaluated in babies with FGR.

Purpose: Virtual surgical planning (VSP) is good for three dimensional reconstructions in maxillofacial surgery, but it is not problem-free completely especially when the resection margins cannot be affirmed in preoperative period. We aimed to obtain an ideal reconstruction with elaborating VSP to be prepared for adverse conditions during surgery and to proceed the oncological resections step- by- step with A, B, and C resection planes.
Patients And Methods: Four patients undergoing multisegment VSP for the primary mandible malignancies were included in the study.
Pathergy test indicates nonspecific hyper-reactivity of the skin to aseptic trauma in Behçet syndrome (BS) and is considered as an adjunctive diagnostic test with a good specificity albeit with low sensitivity. We tested the hypothesis that a relationship exists between active clinical manifestations of BS and the pathergy-positivity when performed simultaneously. Pathergy test and detailed dermatologic examination were done in 105 BS patients (60M/45F); who were seen consecutively at the multi-disciplinary BS outpatient clinic in a single tertiary center.

Methods: Ninety patients who underwent shoulder surgery were randomly divided into three groups. Group I in which ISB was performed and patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) was inserted, Group II with; ISB and SSNB combined, and PCA was inserted, and Group III where; only PCA was used.
Introduction: Device closure of perimembranous ventricular septal defects (pmVSD) is a successful off-label treatment alternative. We aim to report and compare the outcomes of pmVSD closure in children weighing less than 10 kg using Amplatzer Duct Occluder II (ADOII) and Konar-MF VSD Occluder (MFO) devices.
Methods: Retrospective clinical data review of 52 children with hemodynamically significant pmVSD, and sent for transcatheter closure using ADOII and MFO, between January 2018 and January 2023.
Introduction: With the development of transcatheter interventional techniques and the introduction of next-generation duct occluder devices, transcatheter closure has become the first treatment option for patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) in pediatric patients. In this study, we compared the effectiveness and safety of different devices for transcatheter PDA closure in pediatric patients, focusing on long-term outcomes.
Methods: A total of 235 patients aged 0-18 years who underwent transcatheter PDA closure at a tertiary care center between January 2005 and February 2020 were included.

The aim of the present study was to compare the efficacy of hypertonic dextrose prolotherapy (HDP) with conventional physiotherapy (CPT) in improving symptoms in females with knee osteoarthritis (OA). The present study included 60 patients with a diagnosis of knee OA. The patients were randomly assigned to the HDP (n=30) and CPT (n=30) groups.

Methods: One hundred patients who underwent arthroscopic single-bundle ACL reconstruction were included in the study. Group 1 consisted of 50 patients who underwent femoral tunnel drilling using a medial portal offset aimer device, while Group 2 consisted of 50 patients who were operated on using the freehand technique.
