In this report, phthalocyanine (Pc)/reduced graphene (rG)/bacterial cellulose (BC) ternary nanocomposite, Pc-rGBC, was developed through the immobilization of Pc onto a reduced graphene-bacterial cellulose (rGBC) nanohybrid after the reduction of biosynthesized graphene oxide-bacterial cellulose (GOBC) with NH. Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) were employed to monitor all of the functionalization processes. The Pc-rGBC nanocomposite was applied for the treatment of phenol wastewater.

This work addresses how vibration stirring, steel-fiber volume ratio, and matrix strength affect the mechanical properties of steel-fiber-reinforced concrete. The goal of the work is to improve the homogeneity of steel-fiber-reinforced concrete, which is done by comparing the mechanical properties of steel-fiber-reinforced concrete fabricated by ordinary stirring with that fabricated by vibration stirring. The results show that the mechanical properties of steel-fiber-reinforced concrete produced by vibration mixing are better than those produced by ordinary mixing.

Myocardial hypertrophy is a common precursor of many diseases, and it can lead to myocardial ischemia and weaken cardiac contractility. High-sugar diets and diabetes are high risk factors for cardiac hypertrophy. O-GlcNAcylation, a dynamic and ubiquitous post-translational glycosylation of proteins on serine/threonine residues, has been usually considered as a nutrient sensor.
