Aim: This study aims to investigate the effects of combining a multifunctional pulse wave sphygmomanometer with constant temperature ice on patients with forearm hematoma following coronary intervention.

Methods: Patients who developed forearm hematoma after undergoing coronary intervention from March 2021 to March 2023 at our hospital were selected as the study cohort. Using a random number table, they were divided into two groups the control group and the research group.

In this study, the layer-by-layer adsorption behavior of sodium caseinate, pectin, and chitosan on the oil-water interface was illustrated using multi-frequency ultrasound. We investigated the impact of ultrasound on various factors, such as particle size, zeta potential, and interfacial protein/polysaccharide concentration. It was observed that ultrasound has significantly decreased droplet size and increased the surface area at the interface, hence promoting the adsorption of protein/polysaccharide.

Formulation of international standards of Chinese medicine technology: clinical practice guide of Chinese medicine for cough.

Objective: To formulate the first clinical practice guideline for the treatment of cough using Chinese medicine based on the grading of recommendations assessment, development, and evaluation (GRADE) systematic approach, including clinical evidence, evaluation of ancient literature, and expert consensus.

Methods: In the process of development, the regulation of "evidence-based, consensus-assisted, and empirical" was followed, and a comprehensive systematic approach of recommendation assessment, GRADE, evidence-based evaluation, expert consensus, and the Delphi method was used. In the process of guideline development, evidence-based evaluation of ancient literature was included for the first time, and clinical evidence was fully integrated with clinical expert consensus.

Global, regional, and national burdens of hypertensive heart disease from 1990 to 2019 ：A multilevel analysis based on the global burden of Disease Study 2019.

Aim: This study aimed to describe the prevalence, deaths, and disability-adjusted life-years (DALYs) of hypertensive heart disease (HHD) at the global, regional, and national levels and analyze epidemiological trends.

Method: We extracted global estimates of prevalence, deaths, and DALYs related to HHD in 204 countries and regions from the 2019 Global Burden of Diseases Study. Average annual percent change (AAPC) was calculated to represent temporal trends.

Association between serum 25(OH)D and risk of all-cause mortality in adults with prior cardiovascular disease: a cohort study from NHANES 2007-2018.

Background: Serum vitamin D deficiency is common in the patients with cardiovascular disease (CVD), but the association between serum vitamin D levels and risk of all-cause mortality in patients with CVD is controversial.

Objective: This study aimed to understand better the association between serum 25(OH)D status and risk of all-cause mortality in patients with prior CVD.

Method: We conducted a cohort study using data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey from 2007 to 2018 to investigate the association between serum 25(OH)D and the risk of all-cause mortality using multivariate Cox regression models, with further subgroup analyses and interactions smooth curve fitting to address possible nonlinearities.

Bladder paraganglioma, gastrointestinal stromal tumor, and SDHB germline mutation in a patient with Carney-Stratakis syndrome: A case report and literature review.

Background: Carney-Stratakis syndrome (CSS) is a rare dyad of paraganglioma (PGL)/pheochromocytoma (PHEO) and gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST). PGLs are neuroendocrine tumors of neural crest origin which are mostly found in the head, neck, and retroperitoneal space. GISTs are the most common mesenchymal tumors of the digestive tract, usually caused by mutations.

Combination of Type I and II tyrosine kinase inhibitors-avapritinib and sunitinib-in refractory gastrointestinal stromal tumor after failure to multi-line therapy: a case report.

Background: Tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) are currently the main treatment choice for gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs). However, the long-term use of TKIs can lead to drug resistance. There is no study or clinical report of combination therapies of TKIs that have been approved for marketing.
