Background And Objective: Recent research has raised concerns about the association between metformin treatment in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) and an increased risk of diabetic retinopathy. We sought to investigate this relationship, specifically examining if metformin use affects diabetic retinopathy risk in a dose-dependent manner.
Methods: This study was a secondary data analysis based on a nationwide population database in Taiwan.

Objectives: To explore dementia risk in patients with allergic rhinitis using AHs.
Methods: Taiwanese patients with new-onset allergic rhinitis (2011-2017) constituted the study population (677,971 with FGAs or SGAs, 36,081 without AHs).

Ocean current profiling using ocean acoustic tomography (OAT) was conducted in the Kuroshio Current southeast of Taiwan from August 20 to September 15, 2009. Sound pulses were transmitted reciprocally between two acoustic stations placed near the underwater sound channel axis and separated by 48 km.
