Multimodal phototheranostics utilizing single molecules offer a "one-and-done" approach, presenting a convenient and effective strategy for cancer therapy. However, therapies based on conventional photosensitizers often suffer from limitations such as a single photosensitizing mechanism, restricted tumor penetration and retention, and the requirement for multiple irradiations, which significantly constrain their application. The extensive use of antibiotics poses significant public health concerns, including the increase in drug-resistant bacteria and environmental pollution, underscoring the urgent need for rapid, sensitive, and specific antibiotic detection methods. Most current reviews on antibiotic detection primarily focus on categorizing antibiotics based on their types or the classification of sensors used, such as electrochemical, optical, or colorimetric sensors. In contrast, this review proposes a novel and systematic theoretical framework for the detection of antibiotics using sensors using seven popular molecular recognition elements-antibodies, aptamers, microorganisms, cells, peptides, molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs), metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and direct recognition modalities and briefly discusses the mechanism of molecular recognition elements and antibiotic recognition.

Olfactory bulb is a critical component in encoding and processing olfactory signals, characterized by its intricate neural projections and networks dedicated to this function. It has been found that descending neural projections from the olfactory cortex and other advanced brain regions can modulate the excitability of olfactory bulb output neurons in the olfactory bulb, either directly or indirectly, which can further influence olfactory discrimination, learning, and other abilities. The aim of this retrospective study is to investigate the optimal airway management of orthognathic surgery anesthesia for correcting jaw deformity secondary to cleft lip and palate (CLP) by comparing the differences between nasal and submandibular intubation. Preoperative (T0), 1 week postoperatively (T1), and 6 months postoperatively (T2) CT scans and vital signs after oral intubation (S0), before reconnection of the submandibular tracheal catheter (S1), and after reconnection (S2) were collected from 54 patients who received nasal intubation (Group I) and submandibular intubation (Group II). Design And Methods: Single-center cross-sectional study of 261 patients with CKD stages 3-5, who responded to 3-day dietary records and undertook 24-h urine samples along with clinical, laboratory, and anthropometric assessments. We compared their food intake with Chinese recommendations for CKD patients, assessed dietary quality through the Chinese Healthy Eating Index (CHEI), and calculated the contribution to energy intake by processed foods according to the NOVA classification.

The polycrystalline nature of perovskites, stemming from their facile solution-based fabrication, leads to a high density of grain boundaries (GBs) and point defects.
