Microplastics, defined as particles <5 mm in diameter, are emerging environmental pollutants that pose a threat to ecosystems and human health. Biofilm degradation of microplastics may be an ecologically friendly approach. This review systematically summarises the factors affecting biofilm degradation of microplastics and proposes feasible methods to improve the efficiency of microplastic biofilm degradation.

Objective: To determine the role of invariant natural killer T (iNKT) cells in infection-associated pregnancy loss.
Methods: B6 and iNKT cell-deficient Jα18(-/-) mice were injected i.p.
This study sought to determine whether invariant NKT (iNKT) cells play an essential role in inflammation-induced preterm delivery. Preterm delivery and fetal death rates were determined in wild-type (WT) C57BL/6 mice and iNKT cell-deficient Jα18(-/-) mice injected i.p.
