With reducing diamond grain size to nano-grade, the increase of grain boundaries and non-diamond phase will result in the change of the optical properties of chemical vapor deposition (CVD) diamond films. In this paper, the structure, morphology and optical properties of nanocrystalline diamond (NCD) films, deposited by hot-filament chemical vapor deposition (HFCVD) method under different carbon concentration, are investigated by SEM, Raman scattering spectroscopy, as well as optical transmission spectra and spectroscopic ellipsometry. With increasing the carbon concentration during the film deposition, the diamond grain size is reduced and thus a smooth diamond film can be obtained.

The title compound, C(29)H(27)Cl(2)N(5)O(2), contains a central pyridine ring and two functionalized pyrazoline rings. The pyridine ring and the two attached pyrazoline rings are nearly coplanar, whereas the terminal chloro-phenyl rings are nearly perpendicular to the attached pyrazoline rings [dihedral angles = 86.78 (1) and 77.

Raman spectrum and X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) were used to study the process andproduct of thermal transformation of nephrite cat's eye from Sichuan province. The results indicate that upon being heated till 900 degrees C, tremolite in the nephrite cat's eye is dehydrated completely and the appearance of a new characteristic band near 671 cm(-1) indicates the form of a new product. At 1 000 degrees C, the intensity of band near 1014 cm(-1) rises obviously, and the weak bands near 573 cm(-1) and 934 cm(-1) present.

An average charge collection efficiency of 42.9% for the coplanar structure and of 37.
