Aim: The aim of this study is to evaluate the utility of binocular chromatic pupillometry in detecting impaired pupillary light response (PLR) in patients with primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) and to assess the feasibility of using binocular chromatic pupillometer in opportunistic POAG diagnosis in community-based or telemedicine-based services.
Methods: In this prospective, cross-sectional study, 74 patients with POAG and 23 healthy controls were enrolled. All participants underwent comprehensive ophthalmologic examinations including optical coherence tomography (OCT) and standard automated perimetry (SAP).

This study aimed to investigate the effect of transcutaneous upper eyelid blepharoplasty on lipid layer thickness (LLT) and blink parameters in young women during the early postoperative period. This prospective study included 110 eyes of 55 young female patients (age range, 19-31 years) who underwent transcutaneous upper eyelid blepharoplasty. Case Presentation: Two patients with retinal detachment and coexisting corneal blood staining or corneal decompensation underwent modified deep anterior lamellar dissections followed by vitrectomy. The modified deep anterior lamellar dissection techniques, unlike the dissection and removal of corneal lamellar in a typical deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty, included the creation and preservation of a deep lamellar corneal flap, the retroillumination to visualize and easily remove the remaining opaque stroma on the Descemet membrane, and the big air bubble technique in the eye with endothelial decompensation.

Purpose: To establish a linear measuring method in computed tomographic (CT) images to predict the displacement of the globe late after orbital blowout fracture.
Methods: Subjects were retrospectively included. Inclusion criteria were as follows: (1) adult subjects (≥18 years old at the time of trauma); (2) unilateral orbital medial-wall and/or floor fractures; (3) CT examination at least 30 days after trauma.
Aim: To identify long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) and to elucidate regulation patterns of lncRNAs in meibomian gland carcinoma (MGC).
Materials & Methods: We used RNA-Seq, gene ontology, ClueGO, Ingenuity Pathway Analysis and co-expression network analyses to profile the expression and regulation patterns of lncRNAs and mRNAs in MGC.
Results: We identified 500 lncRNAs and 326 mRNAs as differentially expressed.
Our goal is to develop a switch-controlled approach to enable better control of reactivity and safety of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T therapy for non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Lentiviral transduction was performed to generate anti-FITC CAR-T cells and target cells stably expressing either isoform of the folate receptor. Colorimetric-based cytotoxic assay, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, and multiparametric flow cytometry analysis were used to evaluate the specificity and activity of CAR-T cells in vitro.
