Photonic simulators are increasingly used to study physical systems for their affluent manipulable degrees of freedom. The advent of photonic chips offers a promising path towards compact and configurable simulators. Thin-film lithium niobate chips are particularly well suited for this purpose due to the high electro-optic coefficient, which allows for the creation of lattices in the frequency domain.

This study aimed to establish an HPLC characteristic fingerprint of the resin ethanol extract of GGQLD, predicted the targets and signaling pathways of its pharmacological effects based on network pharmacology, identified core compounds with pharmacological relevance, and analyzed potential quality markers(Q-markers) of the resin eluate of GGQLD for relieving Irinotecan-induced toxicity. By considering the uniqueness, measurability, and traceability of Q-markers based on the "five principles" of Q-markers and combining them with network pharmacology techniques, the overall efficacy of the resin ethanol extract of GGQLD can be characterized.

Here, we demonstrate a robust enhancement structure called reflective dielectric cavity (RDC) with advantages including easy on-chip integration, convenient processing, low cost and suitable broad-spectrum enhancement for V defects. In the experiment, we used a metal reflective layer under the hBN flakes, filled with a transition dielectric layer in the middle, and adjusted the thickness of the dielectric layer to achieve the best coupling between RDC and spin defects in hBN.

However, in this application, both the optical and spin properties are crucial for single spins but have not yet been discovered simultaneously for hBN spins. Here, we realize an efficient method for arraying and isolating the single defects of hBN and use this method to discover a new spin defect with a high probability of 85%.

The existing clinical treatment strategies have been able to limit the progression of breast cancer and cancer metastasis, but abnormal metabolism, immunosuppression, and multidrug resistance involving multiple regulators remain the major challenges for the treatment of breast cancer. Adenosine 5'-monophosphate (AMP)-Activated Protein Kinase (AMPK) can regulate metabolic reprogramming and reverse the "Warburg effect" via multiple metabolic signaling pathways in breast cancer.

Ulcerative colitis(UC) is a continuous inflammatory bowel disease with the main clinical manifestations of abdominal pain, diarrhea, and mucous bloody stools, mainly attacking the colorectal mucosa and submucosa. It is characterized by high recurrence rate, difficult cure, and clustering and regional occurrence. Chinese medicinal prescriptions for the treatment of UC have good therapeutic effect, multi-target regulation, slight toxicity, and no obvious side effects.

However, these phenomena and applications are mostly based on the ability to approach a PT-symmetric broken region, which makes it difficult to transfer them to the quantum regime, since the broken quantum PT-symmetric system has not been constructed effectively, until recently several methods have been raised.

Activation of NLRP3 inflammasome requires two steps, including the activation of Toll-like receptor (TLR) by its ligands, resulting in transcriptional procytokine and inflammasome component activation, and the assembly and activation of NLRP3 inflammasome triggered by various danger signals, leading to caspase-1 activation, which could subsequently cleave procytokines into their active forms. Metabolic disorders, ischemia and reperfusion, viral infection and chemical insults are common pathogenic factors of liver-related diseases that usually cause tissue damage and cell death, providing numerous danger signals for the activation of NLRP3 inflammasome.

Using a three-fold dephrasure channel, the superadditivity of coherent information is observed, and a substantial gap is found between the zero single-letter coherent information and zero quantum capacity. Particularly, we find that, when the coherent information of n channel uses is zero, with a larger number of channel uses the quantum capacity becomes positive.

In this study, we reported that NLE increased programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1) expressions at both protein and mRNA levels in human lung cancer cells, and enhanced its localization on the cell membrane. Mechanistically, NLE increased the phosphorylation and expression of c-Jun, and promoted the localization of c-Jun in the nucleus, while silencing of c-Jun by small interfering RNA (siRNA) reduced NLE-induced PD-L1.
