Background: Anti leucine-rich, glioma inactivated 1 (LGI1) antibody-associated autoimmune encephalitis (AE) is the second most common AE, where the trafficking and recycling of the pathogenic immunoglobulin (IgG) can be controlled by the neonatal crystallizable fragment receptor (FcRn), making the latter as a candidate therapeutic target. Efgartigimod is an antagonist of FcRn, its ability to increase the degradation of IgGs and improve the health and quality of life of patients. ADAPT trail indicated its rapid efficacy and safety on myasthenia gravis.

Introduction: Physical activity benefits patients with Parkinson's disease (PD) and is assumed to possess disease-modifying potential. PD-related biomarkers, such as dopamine transporter (DAT) imaging and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) α-synuclein (α-syn) and amyloid β (Aβ), correlate with disease severity and, to some extent, reflect disease progression and pathology. However, the association between regular physical activity and PD biomarker changes remains unknown.

The MMP-10 rs17435959 polymorphism causes a leucine to valine transition at codon 4 in exon 1 of the MMP-10 gene and may have functional effects.
Objectives: To investigate the relationship between the MMP-10 rs17435959 polymorphism and the formation and stability of CAS plaques.
Hypoxia is a common feature of solid tumors that increases tumor invasiveness and resistance to radiotherapy (RT) and chemotherapy. Local application of anlotinib (AL) might increase the regulation of new blood vessel growth and improve tumor hypoxia in RT. Therefore, it is essential to fully understand the drug delivery system of AL.

The aims of this prospective study were to contrast the short-term efficacy of the two imaging methods while evaluating the effects of hypo-fractionated radiotherapy in non-small cell lung cancer, and to establish a short-term efficacy prediction model based on the radiomics features of positron emission tomography.
Methods: This nonrandomized-controlled trial was conducted from March 2015 to June 2019.
Endostatin (ES) can effectively inhibit neovascularization in most solid tumors and has the potential to make oxygen delivery more efficient and increase the efficacy of radiotherapy (RT). With a short half-life, ES is mainly administered systemically, which leads to low intake in tumor tissue and often toxic systemic side effects. In this study, we used hyaluronic acid-tyramine as a carrier to synthesize an ES-loaded hydrogel drug (ES/HA-Tyr) that can be injected locally.

We constructed a drug carrier system for AL, verified its effectiveness and systemic safety, and provided a preliminary experimental foundation for clinical carrier transformation. AL-HA-Tyr was prepared by encapsulating AL with hyaluronic acid-tyramine (HA-Tyr) conjugates.

Materials And Methods: Cell viability was detected by using a Cell Counting Kit-8, while cell cycle and apoptosis were assessed by flow cytometry and western blot was used to measure the expression of the related proteins. RNAi was used to knockout pyruvate kinase muscle isozyme 2 (PKM2).
Objective: To investigate the effect of emergency percutaneous coronary interventional (PCI) treatment on plasma brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) levels and left ventricular remodeling in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI).
Methods: This study included 118 patients with AMI and 20 healthy volunteers (their results were regarded as normal reference). Fifty-two patients who underwent successful emergency PCI 6-12 hours after onset were named as PCI group, and 66 patients rejected or in whom emergency PCI failed served as the control group.
