Four new compounds from the fruits of Chinese dwarf cherry ( Bunge).

A new flavonoid (bunge A) (), a new sesquiterpene (bunge B) (), a new furan derivative (bunge C) () and a new alkenoic acid (bunge D) (), together with ten known ones [four flavonoids (, , , ), two phenylpropanoids (, ), three sesquiterpenes (, , ) and one lactone ()] were isolated from the fruits of Bunge [ (Bunge) Sokolov]. Their structures were elucidated based on extensive spectroscopic analysis (including HR-ESI-MS and NMR) and comparison with previously published data. All compounds were evaluated for cytotoxic activity against three human tumour cell lines.
