Given that industry is the major source of carbon emissions, clarifying the carbon transfer regularity triggered by industry production linkage is of great importance in realizing the synergistic development of industry to reduce pollution and carbon emissions. Based on the perspective of responsibility allocation, the study accounted for the industry carbon emissions and constructed a carbon transfer weighted directed network model and applied the social network analysis method to explore the structure of the industry carbon transfer network and its evolution characteristics from 2005 to 2020. The results showed that: ① The overall carbon emissions of industries from 2005 to 2020 presented a rapid growth trend and large differences occurred in emissions between industries.

Encapsulating enzymes within metal-organic frameworks has enhanced their structural stability and interface tunability for catalysis. However, the small apertures of the frameworks restrict their effectiveness to small organic molecules. Herein, we present a green strategy directed by visible linker micelles for the aqueous synthesis of MAF-6 that enables enzymes for the catalytic asymmetric synthesis of chiral molecules.

Article Synopsis
  • CONSTANS-like 14A (COL14A) is a newly identified gene from mango that is involved in regulating flowering and stress responses in plants.
  • The two variants of this gene, MiCOL14A-JH and MiCOL14A-GQ, showed different expression patterns, with MiCOL14A-JH being linked to improved drought resistance, while MiCOL14A-GQ heightened salt sensitivity.
  • The study highlights that the presence of an additional A base in MiCOL14A-JH affects its protein interactions and functional response to abiotic stress, emphasizing the gene's dual role in flowering regulation and stress adaptation in mangoes.

Glassy and liquid state metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are emerging type of materials subjected to intense research for their rich physical and chemical properties. In this report, we obtained the first glassy MOF that involves metal-carboxylate cluster building units via multi-stage structural transformations. This MOF is composed of linear [Mn (COO) ] node and flexible pyridyl-ethenylbenzoic linker.

The CO/COL gene family plays an important role in regulating photoperiod-dependent flowering time in plants. In this study, two COL2 gene homologs, MiCOL2A and MiCOL2B, were isolated from 'SiJiMi' mango, and their expression patterns and functions were characterized. The MiCOL2A and MiCOL2B genes both belonged to the group Ⅰ of CO/COL gene family.

Article Synopsis
  • * MiCOL1A and MiCOL1B proteins show high expression in leaves and flowers respectively, impacted by seasonal changes, and they have transcriptional activity in yeast.
  • * Overexpressing MiCOL1A and MiCOL1B in Arabidopsis delayed flowering time and improved drought tolerance, indicating their roles in flowering regulation and stress response.
