First Exploration of Monopole-Driven Shell Evolution above the N=126 Shell Closure: New Millisecond Isomers in ^{213}Tl and ^{215}Tl.

Isomer spectroscopy of heavy neutron-rich nuclei beyond the N=126 closed shell has been performed for the first time at the Radioactive Isotope Beam Factory of the RIKEN Nishina Center. New millisecond isomers have been identified at low excitation energies, 985.3(19) keV in ^{213}Tl and 874(5) keV in ^{215}Tl.

A spontaneously healed distal femoral fracture in an infant born preterm: A case report and review of the literature.

Distal femoral fractures are uncommon in the newborn period, and conventional radiographs can miss the diagnosis in infants born prematurely due to delayed ossification. Hence, modalities like ultrasound may have a role in diagnosis. Herein, we report a male infant born preterm with a swollen knee due to a distal femoral fracture after a non-traumatic Caesarean section.

Background: Stuttering, a neurodevelopmental speech fluency disorder, is associated with intermittent disruptions of speech-motor control. Uncovering associations between interest in One Health and pre-existing conditions and behaviours: Evidence from a UK survey.

This paper endeavours to unveil individual characteristics associated with an interest in One Health. Through the distribution of an online survey randomly distributed among the United Kingdom population, we discovered significant correlations between pre-existing attitudes towards and relationships with nature and animals and interest in One Health, which is quantified by the number of additional pages of One Health information participants agreed to view at the survey's conclusion. Additionally, individuals with poorer mental health demonstrated a higher level of interest in One Health.

A hybrid statistical morphometry free-form deformation approach to 3D personalized foot-ankle models.

Foot and ankle joint models are widely used in the biomechanics community for musculoskeletal and finite element analysis. However, personalizing a foot and ankle joint model is highly time-consuming in terms of medical image collection and data processing. This study aims to develop and evaluate a framework for constructing a comprehensive 3D foot model that integrates statistical shape modeling (SSM) with free-form deformation (FFD) of internal bones.

Coalitions in international litigation: a network perspective.

We apply network science principles to analyse the coalitions formed by European Union nations and institutions during litigation proceedings at the European Court of Justice. By constructing Friends and Foes networks, we explore their characteristics and dynamics through the application of cluster detection, motif analysis and duplex analysis. Our findings demonstrate that the Friends and Foes networks exhibit disassortative behaviour, highlighting the inclination of nodes to connect with dissimilar nodes.

This study sets out to analyze websites that provide patient-centered information on robotic colorectal surgery. Three search engines (Google, Yahoo and Firefox) were used with search terms 'robotic colorectal surgery' and the first 20 results on each platform assessed.

The rise of robotic colorectal surgery: better for patients and better for surgeons.

Robotic colorectal surgery represents a major technological advancement in the treatment of patients with colorectal disease. Several recent randomized controlled trials comparing robotic colorectal surgery with laparoscopic surgery have demonstrated improved short-term patient outcomes in the robotic group. Whilst the primary focus of research in robotic surgery has been on patient outcomes, the robotic platform also provides unparalleled benefits for the surgeon, including improved ergonomics and surgeon comfort, with the potential to reduce occupational injuries and prolong career longevity.
