The purpose of this study was to compare the surface changes and shear bond strength between a resin composite and two zirconia ceramics subjected to sandblasting and forming gas (5% H in N) plasma surface treatment. Two types of zirconia ceramic specimens (3Y-TZP and (Y,Nb)-TZP) were divided into groups based on the following surface treatment methods: polishing (Control), sandblasting (SB), sandblasting and plasma (SB-P), and plasma treatment (P).
